About me:
I have always loved to draw and create new things! At the age of 16 I received a Bob Ross painting set and fell in love with the brushes and paints! After years of adjusting techniques and teaching myself how to use the different tools and mediums I was comfortable enough to pass what I had learned on to others. In 2017 I began teaching painting classes out of a local coffee house in Stanley, ND and worked my way into my own Studio! Eazy Breezy Artworkz has been like another child to me and watching it grow and serve the North West region of North Dakota has made me so proud!
I grew up in Alaska and moved to ND at the age of 20. Never knowing that Alaska was something most people wanted to see in their lives, I couldn’t wait to leave.
Once I was gone I missed the mountains, wildlife and rivers, but more than anything I missed the trees! For a long time, I made it my goal to fill up North Dakota with Trees; even if it was just on canvas! To me trees are strong and relentless. They stand through all that life throws at them. Something that most of us can respect and aspire to.
Now the beauty of North Dakota has made its way into my heart and onto my canvas. North Dakota quickly became home and even though I still love my trees I will have to do with them being made of paint.
In my artwork I love playing with the yin and yang of nature versus surrealism, bold colors versus black and white and whimsical versus things grounded.
I'm a mother, wife and small business owner, but painting is what speaks to my soul and makes me who I am! I will paint until the day my hands shake and my eyes don't see clearly. It is a part of what I was made to do. I will continue to grow Eazy Breezy Artworkz and serve the Stanley and surrounding areas as long as there is a desire in others to learn to paint!
